K'Nex was founded in 1992 by a man called Joel Glickman.

The good thing about this product is that its a bit more creative then products like lego. Your making the structure of something like a building or a vehicle. Your making the outline of something. This also can go to any size it wants, it has no limit.


The bad thing is you can't make walls or doors very well. Also the parts are small which means they aren't good for young children cause they could swallow them and injury themselves. Another disadvantage is the colour, you don't get to choose the colour you use, depending on what time of connector you use depends on what colour you get.

Its very popular and is know all around the world, its often seen in children classrooms at school and in houses with children in.
From the research I have gathered I can tell that its mainly aimed at children between the age of 5-11 but of course can be played with by anyone above 5. Any under and they could choke on the small parts.
