Citing and Referencing
There are many different ways to use a quote and how to lay it out.
Example Citing: First Book (Internet)
It has been considered by (Johnson-Cartee & Copeland, 1991) As late 20th-century observers of the American political scene, we sometimes forget that political parties and newspapers, as we know them today, did not exist in the United States.

“Negative political advertising is not a new political phenomenon” (Johnson-Cartee & Copeland, 1991, p.8)
Example Citing: Second Book (Library)
Noted about a lot by (Adam Swift, 2001) The Idea of distributive justice has been around for a very long time - he Greek philosopher Aristotle (384-322 BC) wrote about it.

Dean assumes that the man he bumped into might have taken it or it might have fallen out after hitting him. Dean looks around but can't find it, he assumes the man took it, so Dean heads to the political debate to tell them what has happened, also e is running late and doesn't have time to look for it, also the man has run far away.
He's very worried about losing his wallet, it has a lot of information about him in.

Henry
"Ah, Mr Jombs, you’ve finally arrived, I’ sure you already know Adam, I hope you two are going to be ok this time, I don’t want a repetition of what happened seven months ago, You both lost a lot of voters that year, so be nice"
Henry walks off.
Dean
"Hello again Adam, how are you"
Adam
"I’m fine, I’ll feel amazing after I kick your ass in this debate, just like I did seven months ago"
Dean
"First things first, you didn't kill my ass seven months ago, I kicked yours"

2 Location Recce
After travelling to these two locations in my free time, I have come up with a plan:

BCA School: I will need to rent out a school hall to use their stage or we could use the stage at the College, it would probably be easier to film at BCA school cause I can rent the hall out for free because I am a past student, also my mother works there and we will get a discount for renting and using stuff. On fridays are free so we will aim to film on a Friday in January at the school, we will be in the hall and outside near the road, filming between 15:00pm till 19:30pm. I will need Graham, Sam, Ben, Brandon & Myself.
Avon Street Car Park: I have plans to film on the top floor of the car park in one of the corners where there is very few cars, we won’t know what corner to film in until on the day and we see which corner is best. Filming in the morning. I will need Graham, Sam & Ben.

Podcast
For college we were asked to do a podcast about a scene in a movie or tv show that we liked and explained why we liked it and what made the scene memorable, I chose the opening of Sucker Punch cause we recently saw it together in class and we had already done a lot of textual analysis on it so if need be i could turn to that for help.

Free Audio Websites
List of a few audio websites which might be helpful for videos.
For College we needed to find web sites which would let you download free audio to use in videos for YouTube and other sites. These websites let you use audio fairly without any copyright, and most of them will let you tweak the music, some you might have to ask in the comment section or direct message them.
http://www.freestockmusic.com
http://freemusicarchive.org/curator/video
https://www.youtube.com/audiolibrary/music
These Three web sites allow you to use free music in videos and other content of your own. Youtube Audio Library allows you to put lots of free music in to videos you upload, Some of the web sites like for example Free Stock Music need you to sign up, Free Stock Music says you can sign up for free meaning there are no hidden charges, you don't need to pay or anything, but other web sites might make you, YouTube and Free Music Archive also asks you to sign in.
Copyright
On these three web sites these use music that is free but could still be copyright, they might be selling music without permission from the creator of the music.
Fair Use
The music used on the web sites is fair and allowed to be used, like before there might not be permission from the creator, but if the music used does have permission then it should be fine.
Creative Commons
There aren't any rules about changing/tweaking the music but if you are worried about changing music, its probably best to ask the creator first, messaging people on youtube or leaving comments can help, and a lot of the time they do reply.

The second pie chart is the gender, 23 male, 26 female, 4 didn't answer. The first bar chart is the age of everyone, the second bar chart is how well you know politics on a scale from 1-5

Adding Audio
College Work
Adding Audio To Video
A video my college made a year ago, we were asked to make and add audio to this piece and decide what type of audio would suit it.

I choose these instruments because they sounded dark and made the mood scary. Seeing what just happened in the film. The scene was very quite and dull. Not much happening. But it felt dark seeing what just happened

Sucker Punch Analysis

3 said No

1 said 2
2 said 3 (Ok)
When Asked: What genre would you put the film under
2 said Action
1 said Adventure
1 said Drama
When Asked: Do you think it was obvious would the villain before discovering
All said No
And Finally When Asked: Would you go and see a sequel
1 said Yes
2 said No
1 said Maybe
Here is my Textual Analysis and some Primary & Secondary Research
What is the product: Non Stop The Movie
Background Info: It was made in 2014 and is Starring Liam Neeson
Why have you picked it?: I saw it a few months ago, thought it was pretty good, it has a good plot and i know a lot about because i’ve seen it recently.
Textual Analysis: ¾ minutes long
I will be looking at the trailer of the film
After watching the trailer, I have noticed that there is no stereotypes in the film, the reason being is because they don’t want to give the villain away, the villain is only found at the end. Through out the whole film he/she is anonymous. The Demographic of the film is mainly aimed at adult and young teens. The genre of the film is Action, as you watch the trailer you understand more about the Mise-en-scene. the main story is about a person trying to kill someone every 20 minutes until 150 million dollars are sent to an bank account. The narrative of the story is good and clever. The film age rating is a 15 meaning it isn’t for young people, showing that is it aimed at Adults. It was very popular because Liam Neeson starred in it, people saw he was going to be in it so they went and watched it, there was no real promotion in the film to make it popular, It was mainly the fact that famous actors and actresses were in it. The film couldn’t be shown in some countries around the world, but only a few, it was sold worldwide apart from a few small and dangerous countries.
My overall i think this film is great, after reviewing it i think its really good if you like action films (which i do), also it keeps you wanting more, noting knowing who the villain is.
Research Plan & Methodology
I will probably make a survey which can be done online and handed out around the college and my local area. The reason i am doing this is because i think it would be easier to do.
Primary Research:
After creating a survey online https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/7XM36WW i have found out that not many people have seen the film, the people who have seen it would love to see a sequel but the people who haven’t couldn’t care if there was a sequel or not. and the villain of the film was hidden well and wasn’t obvious. Amazing everyone had mixed feeling about its genre. Everyone thought it was ok, not the best but ok, i chose it because it is one of the most reason films i have seen and the only one i could think of, I thought it was ok as well.
After going online and looking at reviews of the film, i discovered that it has been mainly rated between at 6 and a 7. Imdb rated it 7 overall meaning it is a ok film, not the best but ok. After researching i found out the film is genre is Action just like i thought. its also listed up Thriller and Mystery (because of the unknown villain) The characters in the film are all anonymous, one of them is a muslim and a lot of people in the plane assume its him because of what happened with 911 but in the end it turns out to not be him.
These are a few notes I made to help me in my presentation
Audience: BBFC gave it a 12
Its a mystery because you don’t know the villain, turns out to be two people,
Survey Research: Even if they hadn’t seen it but had heard about it
Local Area: Neighbours, all ages watched it again,
Online: I went on Wiki, Imdb
Overall: So overall lots of people had mixed feelings about it, I personally thought the film was ok, everyone else had mixed feelings.
Here are screen shots of each slide I used in my presentation
