Website Ideas

My web site plan is to show politics online with videos, pictures, trends & posts. The audience will also be able to make comments and communicate with the page; it will also show the latest news & Information.
Language will be short (similar to the way people text on Facebook and Twitter), the page will basically be similar to Facebook & Twitter, where people talk politics, also slang words.
The website will post the news and people will be able to comment and communicate with each other while on the website. The website can post pictures and videos about certain parties. Design will be colourful, probably all the colours used in all the parties.

Who: Young people who use the internet. For example social media users & Students.
What: It’s a web site to encourage young people to learn and get involved in politics.
Where: It will hopefully be within the college system.
When: Before the May election.
How: Make it InDesign and find a website making software.
Why: Because young people don’t know much about politics, but do know a lot about the internet and social media.

Overall aim of the website is to encourage young people to learn about politics and vote for a political party and to do this through social media.

This is an draft layout of what the website might look
like on one of the double pages spread

Adding Subtitles To YouTube Videos

I went through an old video I original made in Tom's class and added subtitles using YouTube add subtitles option in the Video Manager area.

I had to go through the whole video and add audio in when people spoke

Adding Audio at the begin

Going through the timeline about to edit a new piece of dialog

This is the video with the subtitles, just go to the CC option at the bottom or the setting button and click subtitles/CC
